Legal Expertise

Each of our lawyers brings a high level of expertise and unique set of skills to our practice. With more than 30 years of criminal and civil law experience, one of our partners served as a former federal prosecutor in Jacksonville, Florida, for 17 years, and was the Chief Assistant, supervising some 20 lawyers, and handling some of the biggest cases in the office.  He contributes extensive trial expertise gained through numerous high profile criminal cases, and leadership capabilities through past supervision of a large number of lawyers in criminal and civil cases in the U.S. Attorney’s Office. For the past 14 years, he has been in private practice, defending the rights of clients in criminal cases.  He has been recognized as one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the United States.

Personal Injury is another legal area in which our lawyers have demonstrated exceptional capabilities, along with the area of civil litigation.  One of our partners belongs to the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was recently nominated for listing in Leading Plaintiff’s Lawyers in America.  Another of our partners is a Certified Mediator - which means other attorneys use his vast experience to help them settle their cases.

Community Ties

Our firm has a strong footing in the Jacksonville community. As natives of Jacksonville, several partners at our firm have lived and practiced law in the Jacksonville community all of their lives. One of our partners served as a United States Naval Officer at NAS Jacksonville. Their community ties not only provide the firm with access to a broad network of professionals, but also contribute to the highly regarded reputation we have earned with judges, other lawyers and courts, throughout the area.

Leadership

Lawyers at our firm have served as Presidents of Bar Associations, including the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel.  Additionally, one of our partners served as President of the Museum of Science & History (MOSH).
