Curtis S. Fallgatter has practiced law for over thirty years.  He was a federal prosecutor in Jacksonville, Florida, for 17 years, and was the Chief Assistant, supervising some 20 lawyers, and handling some of the biggest cases in the office.  He contributes extensive trial expertise gained through numerous high profile criminal cases, and leadership capabilities through past supervision of a large number of lawyers in criminal and civil cases in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.  For the past 14 years, he has been in private practice, defending the rights of clients in criminal cases. He has been recognized as one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the United States.

Biography: Born Fargo, North Dakota, January 19, 1948; admitted to Bar, 1973, Oklahoma; 1976, Florida. Former Chief Assistant U.S. Attorney, Jacksonville, Florida, with responsibility for all Federal criminal prosecutions and affirmative and defensive civil litigation involving the United States, 1977-1994.

Education: University of Oklahoma (B.S. in Mathematics, 1970; J.D. 1973).

Member: Jacksonville, Federal (President, 1998-1999) and American Bar Associations; The Florida Bar; U.S. District Court, Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; 11th Circuit Court of Appeals; Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; U.S. Navy, JAG, 1973-1976.
