Appeals

We are all entitled to our day in court.  It is our right as citizens of a free country.  While we are nowhere promised a perfect trial, we are guaranteed a fair one.  Our system is far from perfect, and it does make mistakes.  When those mistakes deprive us of our freedom, our families, or our hard-earned financial resources, we need to take action.

We at FALLGATTER FARMAND & CATLIN, P.A. understands that courts can make mistakes.  Well-intentioned people can and do disagree about the law.  Innocent people have been convicted of crimes.  Our job as your advocate is to insure you, our client, receives every protection the law provides.  One of the most important ways we do this is by appealing adverse judgments and wrongful convictions.

The law of appeals is complicated and subject to strict time limitations.  You can lose your rights and remedies simply by delay in filing an appeal.  If you have come out of court unhappy and mistrustful because of an unfavorable outcome caused by an overzealous prosecutor, less then ideal counsel, or a questionable ruling by a court, it is easy to lose hope.  We can restore that hope.  We have the skill and talent necessary to see where mistakes have been made, and the desire and ability to try and set things right.
